UMATILLA, Fla. (AP) - A camp counselor has been arrested for giving a little more than advice and help to some of her campers.
Twenty-five year-old Morgan Brown is being held in the Lake County Jail on charges she had sex with a 16-year-old boy at the Rivendale Boys Ranch in Umatilla.
Brown admitted she had consensual sexual intercourse with the teen in her office at a park in Eustis. She also admitted to having relations in other locations outside Lake County.
The 16-year-old and another 17-year-old boy told officers that they left the facility with Morgan in her car and traveled as far as Quincy where they stayed in a motel.
The 17-year-old boy reportedly told officers that on multiple occasions during their travels the 16-year-old boy and Brown engaged in consensual sexual activity.
A towel from a bathroom next to Brown's office was collected as evidence.
Brown is charged with unlawful sexual activity with a minor and is being held on 14-thousand dollar bond.
There seems to be a whole lot of this adult woman-teenage boy sex going on. What do you think is the cause of this surge in reported cases?
